Introduction to Patchelf

The patchelf package contains a small utility to modify the dynamic linker and RPATH of ELF executables.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS 13.1 platform.

Package Information

Installation of Patchelf

Install patchelf by running the following commands: 

./configure --prefix=/usr \
            --docdir=/usr/share/doc/patchelf-0.19.1 &&
make

To test the results, issue: LC_ALL=C make check.

Now, as the root user: 

make install
